CURRICULUM

Evergreen Hybrid Academy uses The Good and the Beautiful curriculum for Math and Language Arts. The Language Arts curriculum includes phonics, reading, writing, spelling, literature, grammar, punctuation, art, and geography.

To strengthen students' foundational reading skills, we incorporate a daily Fundations phonics warm-up in our classroom for K-2 students. This supplemental instruction provides explicit, systematic phonics practice aligned with the Science of Reading, helping students build confidence and accuracy in decoding words. We use Fundations solely as a phonics supplement while The Good and the Beautiful remains our core Language Arts curriculum.

The Good and the Beautiful is an open-and-go curriculum, meaning lessons are fully planned and ready to teach with little to no additional preparation or extra materials.

Designed for both quality and efficiency, most Math and Language Arts lessons take approximately 30–60 minutes to complete and are typically scheduled four days per week.
